Insoles and Orthoses

Recent studies have shown excellent recovery results from various sport injuries and common foot alignment problems with the help from Insoles or Orthoic devices. We offer a wide range of pre-moulded and custom made orthoses which best suits your individual needs. The Podiatrist will be able to advise and recommend after a biomechanical assessment has been completed. Biomechanical assessments encompass the complete lower limb and walking style as well as an examination of the joints and ligaments in the foot.

Our orthotic devices help control abnormal foot motion, especially excessive pronation. Over time, this motion (when the arch collapses too much and the foot rotates too far inward) can lead to the development of conditions such as Achilles tendinitis, bunions, heel spurs, metatarsalgia, Morton's neuroma, plantar fasciitis (heel and arch pain), post-tib tendinitis, shin splints, tarsal tunnel syndrome, as well as knee pain (chondromalacia, iliotibial band syndrome), hip pain and lower back pain. We also offer modifications to our pre-moulded orthotics for individuals requiring more correction than our standard models provide.

Custom Made Orthoses

Taken from a cast of your foot, custom made orthses are the ultimate fit and offer a individual prescriptive orthortic device. Made from a high density EVA material the orthotics can be customised with many different additionals and depths.

Pre-moulded Insoles

We offer a complete line of pre-moulded orthotics, available for different footwear, different activities, and different conditions. They are available in all sizes including childrens sizes. Our pre-moulded orthotics are not a replacement for the therapeutic value provided by custom orthotics. However, they are a viable treatment alternative (providing many of the same therapeutic benefits), at a fraction of the cost.
